Smooth Liar Sweet Talker

She walked up to him. ‘Where have you been?’
‘Always here by your side’
He softly said and smoothly lied
And once more she let him inside
If it must be then it will
I’ll give my heart to you
As I get ready for the tears to spill
‘Lie just one more time
I’m so ready to be fooled’
It was enough if it was all he could give
She’d find her bliss in his cruel
She walked up to him. ‘Where have you been?’
‘Always here by your side’
He softly said and smoothly lied

Through Magic Part III

A single tear from her left eye
Fell upon the weakened earth
Was she to bare her secret
Or risk breaking her heart

She looked at him and breathed deep
'I am the angel who healed your knee'
His arms came around her then
'I was waiting for you to tell me'

Confused, she asked him to explain
'I always knew' He began
'I saw you when I joined my hands,
It was I who told my dad.'

'Now if you love or if you loathe,
Know this once, forget it never,
Ever since that day of joy,
I've been the boy who'll love you forever.'

Another tear spilled from the right
And then they flew down like a stream
As she finally went into his arms
The little fairy fulfilled her dream.

Through Magic Part II

So they grew together these two
In and out of ups and downs
As years passed they grew closer still
Buddies always ready to be clowns

But then one summer day
When she could contain herself no more
She spoke to him the words of love
The ones she had stopped many times before

But he told her of the day
An angel had touched a part of him
And in healing his tortured self
Had stolen away the heart of him

Through Magic (Part I)

A little orphan fairy
Crept away from certain doom
No more to be constrained
To bathe in the light of the full moon

As she walked on through the night
She heard a child wailing woe
He couldn't walk, he couldn't run
So he would have nowhere to go

Full of love for the dreams in him
And wanting to be needed too
She used her magic to heal his pain
Knowing he'd never have a clue

But in giving what she got
Was the smile when morning came
And he sent a prayer up to God
For the angel who had healed his pain

Lying so underneath a tree
She was found by a gentleman
Who enchanted by the little thing
Took her in as sister to his son

Imagine her surprise when she learnt
The healer was saved by the healed
Keeping her delight to herself
She didn't let her feelings be revealed

Today Once Again

Today once again she waited for the train,
Today once again she hoped for gentle rain,
Today once again she longed to see a face,
Today once again she resignedly took her place,
Today once again she heard the shouts and screams,
Today once again she knew not the completion of dreams,
Today once again she smiled and let duties rule
Tomorrow once again she'd hope dreams would come true...
