She's Run Away Home

The single whisper in her heart
Started to tear her apart
And before too long before she knew
Everything was all brand new
And she didn't want it any more

Silly little notions of a magical love
She would cling on to with intensity
Now that stupid little girl has run away home
All that's left in her place is me

The single time she tried to let it be
Went down in flames while Nero played his symphony
She tried to unlock the gates
But it was too late
And now she's suffering so far away from me

Silly little notions of a magical love
She would cling on to with intensity
Now that stupid little girl has run away home
All that's left in her place is me

Call her a dreamer, call me a fool
Call her a schemer, in a land with no rules
Call her away from me, she's like a splint in my leg
Just let her run away home, deal with me instead
